This blog has become deathly silent recently. How about sharing some Halloween items . . . decorations, kids in costume, creative and funny jack-o-laterns? Where are all the contributers . . . aunts, uncles, cousins . . . let's share some family moments.

Naw! Just an inspiration photo for some halloween ideas, although we are thinking about getting an Australian sheepdog . . . she was born a little over a week ago and is named Midnight Blue. We may go and see her over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm just trying to inspire everybody for some "Halloween" photos, which, by the way, I still have to get my decorations out of the box and hung out. We don't have many "trick or treaters" in our neighborhood like we did at our last home.
The first year I had a house, I was all geared up for Trick or Treaters. We had one. One. Now I am almost nostalgic for those days since we moved to a family-rich neighborhood and my Halloween candy budget has gone way up...
Sounds like our lone "trick or treater" last year . . . around 4 years old. Bought one bag of candy and our boys finished it. Of course, THEY went to another neighborhood where there were hundreds of "trick or treaters" . . . they knew the hot spots in the area. I remember having to have at least 10 bags of candy to keep up with it and then we took all the candy the boys didn't care for and threw it back in the bowl and handed that out to the stragglers who came after curfew.
