Prayers for Barb

Barb gave us a disappointing update on her CarePage too -- her tumors have grown again and she is heading back to the Mayo Clinic on Thursday to see what new treatment plans they can come up with. If you have not stayed in touch with her treatment on her CarePage, you should. She has an amazing attitude and we should all be very proud to be related to someone with such strength and unwavering faith! Keep her and her family in your prayers -- I'm sure they all need a boost right now.

Don and his girlfriend Shannon are the excited parents and think he is just a perfect baby (of course!)

With all of the disastrous news and images coming out of the midwest, it's nice to find a bright spot with a new baby in the family! Welcome Gavin!

We head back for vacation next week and it sounds like all we will find is mud. Hope everyone dealing with flooding is doing ok...

it's been a while since I posted...

So I thought I would toss a few pictures up.

Yes, we managed to finish our basement remodel - well, our permits are closed out officially with the city. There are always little bits and pieces to do...


And it's Rose Festival time again in the Rose City. We are going to miss the big parade this year (t-ball and baby showers are taking precedence) but we did hit cheap ride day at the fair. And made it just before the rain too.

Hope everyone is enjoying a lovely spring. School is out here next week and we journey to the midwest for my dad's 70th birthday at the end of June. Hope to see some of you in person this summer!
