Backyard Circus Entertainers

One of the Christmas gifts I received was a squirrel feeding station, but it was like none I was familiar with. The corn is screwed on screws that hang from 5 spokes of a rotating wheel and is hung from a bracket that is attached to a post.

As you can tell, we are totally entertained by the squirrels in our backyard, one of which has become a real acrobat in finding ways to get the corn off the corncob.

Ok, I got these old negatives from my parents who asked me to see if I could get prints made. Well, I haven't gotten them printed, but I did get them scanned and am now posting them for everyone's viewing pleasure. And I am now waiting impatiently for comments to see who knows the background stories on these...

Miles and Kate
