Grandpa Don's Silly Grandkids

The Plan: Take a nice group picture of the grandkids as a diversion before we open presents.

The Result: Who were we kidding? I'm not sure that I have a nice group picture of the grandkids. Only silly ones -- they all take after their grandpa!

Happy belated birthday to Aaron! December blew in with an ice storm in our area and we took advantage of being housebound to put up our tree and decorations. Council Bluffs was luckier than our northern neighbors though -- we didn't really get any snow and temps warmed up so most everything melted by the end of the day. This is the view of the icy woods from our deck.

She wanted everyone to post their favorite Christmas photos. Well, here is mine. This was the "reject" from our first official Christmas card as a family when Sebastian was 3 months old. We ended up going with one of him not crying but there was something so charming about this one that I had it blown up and framed anyway. Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
