Nathan received the Sacrament of Confirmation, Sunday, April 20, 2008 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Clinton, TN. Nathan was one of 12 candidates (back row in rust colored shirt).

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I have blogged in at least 2 years. Things are good here in Seattle, WA. The weather is looking like spring even if the temps do not. I am still freelancing from home as I have done for the last 13 years. My boys 13 and 7 keep me busy enough after the 3 o'clock school bell everyday. Play-dates, soccer and lacrosse practice for Alex, piano for Joe and homework too. We did only a little skiing this winter even though the mountains are still packed with record snow levels. I spent a week last month (March 08) in Iowa visiting Barb, Darlene and Donna for our 2nd annual "Sisterfest" weekend. Debbie, I hope you can make it next time. We are still as weird as we were in our teens when we shared a small bedroom together...giggling all night. (This is a photo of my kids at the Museum of Natural History last fall, NYC.)

Stepp family remodel work in progress

This is my hubby, Sid, tearing down paneling in our basement room. This room is where his home office is and right now he's working in it and remodeling it. We will both be glad when this job is finished which will be awhile. We still have three walls to put in studs and drywall on. The floor will be bamboo wood and then a drop ceiling.
