i have a schettler family myth question...

Ok, so as someone who is going through the agony of picking a name for a newborn, what's the story behind why Grandpa always suggested "Luke Rudolph" as a name when someone was pregnant?

When I was younger I thought that name was just so ridiculous. Now, however, I kind of like it. I really think you should consider this as your boy name Dawn.

Luke Rudolph Miller

brilliant

I have to agree with Lisa, didn't like the name that's why Rod didn't get named that. But Now I don't thinks it's a bad name.

See, the problem is Luke is now too popular. Pairing it with Miller is going to guarantee mistaken mail and credit reports in the future... Although I have to agree, it is a pretty great name now 30 years later. But still, why Luke Rudolph in the first place?

But Dawn, the middle name "Rudolph" is guaranteed to be unique. I still vote for Luke Rudolph Miller.

I have another suggestion why not turn the name around call him Rudolph Luke Miller. But who said that it is a boy, what if it's a girl? Then she could name her Lucinda Lea Miller and call her Lucy.

Yea, they you can call him Rudy for short!

I do like the name Lucy. Tried to talk Matt into it, but ended up with Kate.

Wasn't I supposed to be Lucy but dad nixed that because he didn't like Lucille Ball? Lucy Miller. Gotta think about it...
